Polish Chamber Orchestra “Camerata-Wrocław” www.camerata-wroclaw.com POLISH CHAMBER ORCHESTRA Jan Pogány, Music Director, and founder of Camerata Wroclaw, is a graduate of the Richard Strauss Conservatory of Music in Munich, Germany and of the  Academy of Music in Wroclaw ,Poland where he studied cello , conducting and composing. 1997 he decided to found Camerata Wroclaw. Since then, as Music Director of Camerata Wroclaw, has collaborated with distinguished artists. Currently he co- operates with numerous both orchestras such as the ones Royal Oman Symphony orchestra, Japan, Korea, Germany, Greece and a lot of operas theatres. He played cello in Munich Philharmonic Concert Hall for the heir of the British throne Prince Charles. The artist is too involved in composing ,his music retains the romantic style and is a symbiosis of modern form of romantic harmony and lyrical melodic line. He won  prizes in several composers competitions: the II prize at the International Composers Competitions in Torrevie (Spain) and III prize at the International Composers Competitions in Luxembourg. His important compositions: Film music for the German TV crime series " Mit Herz und Handschellen" ,Opera "Acrobat" composer is also the author of the libretto, first performance was at the Philharmonic Hall in Munich, Musical “Cruise”, Requiem a-moll for opera singer Antonina  Kawecka, Introduction and Waltz of fate ,Cantata “La Voce del Destino” for tenor, violin and orchestra, Fantasia in D minor for cello and orchestra, Cantata of  Kolobrzeg  for two sopranos, tenor, baritone, choir and orchestra, the composition was written on the jubilee 750th anniversary of Kolobrzeg , Requiem - the first performance was in the Polish Radio Concert Hall in Wroclaw in the first anniversary of plane crash in Smolensk,  “Rhapsody of Japan” for tenor, choir and orchestra. Jan Pogany and Camerata Wroclaw  will undertake a major European tour to include numerous capital cities. Jan Pogány Conductor and Music Director Jan Pogány studierte im Fach Cello und Dirigieren an der Musikhochschule- Richard Strauss Konservatorium  in München und  an der Musikhochschule in Breslau. Seit 1997 ist er Chefdirigent  und Generalmusikdirektor vom Kammerorchester  Camerata-Breslau  und mit dem Orchester nimmt er an vielen Projekten teil, zahlreiche Konzerte, Plattenaufnahmen, Film und Fernseher Auftritte, als Dirigent hat er zahlreiche Gastspiele  mit Theatro di San Carlo in Neapel , Münchner Gasteig, Orchestern und  Opernhäusern  in Oman, Japan, Korea, Deutschland, Griechenland. Als Cellist arbeitet er mit vielen internationalen Orchester und Pianisten mit.  Zu seinem Repertoire gehören auch mehrere Kammermusik Werke. Als Cellist spielte  Jan Pogany im Saal von Münchner Philharmonie für den britischen Thronfolger   Prinz Charles. Als Komponist hat Jan Pogany mehrere Preise in Komponisten Wettbewerben gewonnen : den 2 Preis beim internationalen Wettbewerb  in Torrevie (Spain) und 3 Preis in Luxemburg. Seine Musik bildet eine Symbiose der romantischen Harmonie und ausgebauten Melodik in zeitgenössischer Form. Als Komponist hat er nicht nur Oratorien und Kammermusik geschrieben aber auch eine Oper und Filmmusik . Fantasia in d-moll für Violoncello und Orchester, Musical "Rejs" (Kreuzfahrt), Requiem,  Oper "Der Akrobat", Kolberger-Cantate  für zwei Soprano, Tenor, Bariton, Chor und Orchester,  die Komposition wurde auf das Jubiläum 750 Jahre von Kolberg geschrieben. Cantate "La Voce del Destino" für Tenor, Violine und Orchester ,Requiem , „Rhapsody of Japan” für Tenor, Chor und Orchester und Filmmusik für die deutsche  TV-Krimiserie "Mit Herz und Handschellen".
